The Silence

Kneeling before the Master
With a heavy heart

Heavy from the pain …

Heavy from the strain…

I wish it would stop

Resolution unknown
Need it before I breakdown

Remember this …Remember this …

Troubled, my destiny unclear
Delusive illusion is near

So I pray for the guidance
Through this mystic tour

Pray for the tranquility
To make my soul still

Pray for the silence
For it restores the balance

Remember this …. Remember this …

To pray for the day ….

I have the strength
to break what binds me this way

that my soul gives away
the despair and dismay

Pray for the sanity of a clear mind!!!

Then perhaps I can finally find

The Silence

The Voice

Sitting in silence, I should be filled with happiness
From the opportunity to provide or define the purpose of my work
Yet, as I sit here I wanna scream because now I realize
That people only hear what they want
My voice is more than a mysterious, soothing, somewhat sexy voice
That sometimes appears out of the darkness

Much, much more ….

It is shame that they don’t hear the words and feel
I am saddened don’t see the light shown the darkness
Darkness that we all feel, but seldom admit
They never know how difficult it is open doors
Those were meant to stay closed

They don’t hear the courage it stands amongst our brethren
Standing naked bearing our soul
They don’t hear the struggle from each time we are ignored
How hard it is to pick the quill again...
They don’t know how many times you wanted to pack away
The quill and walk away from it all

Knowing that wouldn’t affect them like it would affect you
The ink on the pages of memoirs help me,
Through their realism they help you
But you only listen to my voices tempo and tone
So you miss the very intent of it all

As I sit in silence, I let out a scream !!!!

Still I wait for the day that they hear

Me !!!
